YANAGIHARA Mitsuyoshi

Subject of research

Analysis is tried from a theoretical viewpoint about the effects of public goods supply by the central and local governments on the economic welfare and economic growth. Moreover, from the viewpoint of developing countries' development, the effect of economic assistance on economic welfare by the governmental policies and educational systems configuration are analyzed theoretically.

Seminar (C) outline [subject name: Public Finance]

I require each participant to make a report based on his/her own report theme and arguement will be performed in the seminar. In addition, as a theme in this seminar, various problems regarding resource distribution by central and local governments (such as sources of taxation, public goods supply, subsidy, migration and educational service supply) will be treated.

  • 1993: Graduated from School of Economics, Kyoto University .
  • 1995: Completed Master Course of Graduate School of Economics, Osaka University.
  • 1996: Summer Intern, the World Bank.
  • 1997: Assistant, School of Commercial Science, Nagoya University of Commerce & Business Administration.
  • 1998: Completed Doctoral Course of Graduate School of Economics, Osaka University.
