Research interest
Industrialization and economic growth of East Asia and the wave of newly regional integration are mainly analyzed from the framework of the world economy. From the historical point of view, present industrialization of East Asia is considered to be a new type. It might be also necessary to understand the 1997 Asian currency and economic crisis , and the movement of free trade agreements.
Seminar (C) outline [subject name : Economic Structure]
It is considered the mechanism of economic development in East Asia centered on Asian NIES in the first half, and to understand the substance of Asian currency and economic crisis, and subsequent regional cooperation and a motion of free trade agreement in the second half.
